I'm a nature photographer born and raised in Iceland. As a child, I became fascinated by the chubby silverfish that skittered across the floor of my parents' basement apartment. My passion for crawly things soon expanded into a broad appreciation for the natural world. After acquiring a DSLR camera in 2006, I first started seriously dabbling with nature photography ― a rewarding hobby I've been pursuing ever since. Focusing on everything from tiny fungi to wide landscapes, I'm equally attracted to humid rain forests and craggy mountain tops.
